Tyrrell's Old Winery 2024 Chardonnay is a modern take on the traditional Chardonnay style. The 2024 vintage is a medium-bodied wine from South East Australia, with aromas of stone fruit and subtle vanilla oak.
Harvested slightly earlier to maintain natural acidity and freshness, the wine received minimal oak and was matured on yeast lees to gain extra texture and complexity.
Tyrrell's is the oldest continuously family-owned and operated winery in the Hunter Valley region of Australia. The estate, nestled in the foothills of the Brokenback range, is a unique patch of vineyards which have a diverse range of soils, from sandy loams lying on ancient creek beds to heavier red clays over limestone. These vineyards produce some of the most distinctive and refined wines in the world.
