The nose is intense, with fresh blackberry, dark plum, violet and peppery spices. On the palate there is serious structure, with gorgeous ripe, velvety tannins. It is already a pleasure to drink, delicious and complex in equal measures, and there is immense power with potential for a long life in the cellar.

A great match with game, especially venison.
