The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are handpicked and expertly crafted with traditional winemaking techniques, producing a wine that is pure, elegant and truly represents the terroir of the region.
Produced at Shaw & Smith’s estate vineyards at Balhannah and Lenswood, complemented by fruit from a small number of highly valued growers. Carefully pressed grapes were fermented at cool temperatures and protected from oxygen throughout. Some time in tthe ank on yeast lees followed, helping to build palate texture and complexity.

Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
The 2024 Vintage proved ideal for Sauvignon Blanc. Cool and wet conditions during flowering interrupted berry set, resulting in smaller, lighter bunches for early budding varieties like Sauvignon Blanc. The remainder of the season was mostly mild and dry, with a few well-timed rain events supporting vine growth and health. The result was low yields, high acidity, and great flavour.
The bouquet is overflowing with aromas of tropical fruits, and notes of herbs. In the mouth, the palate is flooded with juicy citrus and elderflower flavours.
The wine is great as an aperitif or paired alongside seafood based dishes.
