Prats & Symington Prazo de Roriz is made with an emphasis on bright, red fruit aromatics and a juicy, supple palate. The delicious fruit makes this a pleasure to drink now. It is a blend of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and other Douro varieties, and is aged for 6 months in 400l French oak barrels.
Prats & Symington is a Douro estate that is focused primarily on unfortified wines. It was founded as a joint venture involving the renowned Bordeaux winemaker Bruno Prats (formerly of Cos d'Estournel) and the Symington family, leaders in the Port industry.
