Prats & Symington Post Scriptum Red Wine 2021 Portugal 75cl
Prats & Symington Post Scriptum is a sibling wine of the more famous Chyseia. Sourced from the same vineyards, it undergoes shorter maceration and spends less time in oak. Post Scriptum is more approachable young, and displays a similar, concentrated dark fruit profile to Chryseia.
Prats & Symington is a Douro estate that is focused primarily on unfortified wines. It was founded as a joint venture involving the renowned Bordeaux winemaker Bruno Prats (formerly of Cos d'Estournel) and the Symington family, leaders in the Port industry.

This concentrated Douro red wine is medium to full-bodied, with intense aromas of dark fruits, spice and tobacco. This is bold, expressive, whilst also being sophisticated and complex. It can be enjoyed on its fruit as a young wine, or cellared comfortably for a decade or more to develop more of the spice and earth notes.
