Marques de Murrieta Tinto Reserva Wine Magnum 2019 is a highly-acclaimed, classic Rioja from the renowned Finca Ygay estate. The blend is dominated by Tempranillo, approximately 86-92%, with Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha added in minority percentages.
The wine is aged for 18-24 months in American oak barrels, followed by ageing in bottle for over a year. The resulting wine has notes of dark cherry, cedar, spices and tobacco with refined tannins and an elegant acidity. The 2019 vintage is full-bodied and silky, and has a powerful yet balanced flavour.

The 2019 vintage is expressive and layered on the nose, with intense red fruits and darker notes of blueberry. Further notes of sandalwood, black pepper, cedar and vanilla develop across the palate. the palate is full-bodied yet silky, with a powerful yet balanced flavour and a vibrant acidity. The finish is elegant and long, with fine-grained tannins and savoury notes of roasted coffee, tobacco and slate.
