Mahi Pinot Noir 2022 is a full-bodied and rich wine produced from two vineyards in the Marlborough region of New Zealand, each lending distinct characters to the wine. The first from Twin Valleys, in the cooler Fareham Road area, gives the palate structure and finesse. The second is Ward, which provides great depth and rich black fruit characters.
The wine is hand-picked and aged in French barriques for 15 months before bottling.
Mahi's main aim is to highlight the quality and diversity of individual vineyard sites in Marlborough. The name Mahi means “our work, our craft” and it was chosen to show that wine is their work, passion, and craft while also paying respect to the history of the land.
