Josef Chromy 2023 Pinot Noir Case Deal 12 x 75cl - A medium-bodied Tasmanian wine with smooth velvety tannins and intense flavours of red fruits.
Created from fruit that has been hand-picked at optimal conditions, then cooled down and allowed to cold soak to extract aroma compounds and colour before the onset of fermentation. Post fermentation, the wines are pressed to tank and settle before being racked off into French oak barrels, 25% of which are new each year. After an 8 month aging period, the wine is taken out of barrels and the final blend is created.

On the palate, this pinot noir is snappy and juicy, with intense flavours of red fruits. In this wine, the tannins are moderate and offer great support to the rich, concentrated fruit flavours; resulting in a long finish and a decadent flavour profile.
This wine is particularly enjoyable when decanted prior to serving, and would make a wonderful addition to any meal of pork belly, roast duck, truffle risotto or beef bourguignon.
