The John D. Taylor's Velvet Falernum liqueur traditional Barbados sweet alcoholic cordial made from a rum base combined with sugar cane, lime almond and cloves. It is an essential ingredient for many traditional Barbadian cocktails.
The original recipe was developed by Sir John D. Taylor Mountjoy of Bridgetown, Barbados in 1890.

Unique, smooth crisp taste with sugar cane, lime, almond and cloves. Make a Hemingway breakfast by mixing 20ml Lime juice, 1/2tsp marmalade, 50ml white rum, 2 1/2 ml Absinthe, 3 drops Angostura and 10ml Falernum liqueur.
