The House of Arras Blanc de Blancs presents as light, yellow gold in colour, with a fresh green hue, and also showcases a persistent, ultrafine bead. The bouquet exhibits lifted aromas of lemon oil, honeysuckle and white peach, complemented deliciously by the secondary maturation characters reminiscent of oyster shells and fresh pastries. On the palate, this elegant yet powerful wine boasts flavours of lemon curd, grapefruit pith, fresh sourdough and natural yoghurt.
This dry Blanc de Blancs would pair perfectly with shellfish or seafood, particularly crab cakes, oysters, grilled sea bass or ceviche, however it would also pair well with light meals such as salads with pine nuts or cheese soufflé.
