Dawson James Chardonnay Tasmania Australia 75cl
Dawson James Chardonnay 2020 is a delightful white wine from Tasmania, Australia that perfectly balances aromas and flavours. With delicate aromas of citrus and floral notes, the wine is a true reflection of the beautiful and pristine vineyards of Derwent Valley, Tasmania.
The Chardonnay is sourced from a single patch of I10V5 clone Chardonnay vines that were planted in 2000 on the Far Horse block at Meadowbank. This cool climate site produces flavour ripeness with modest levels of grape sugar.
Dawson James was established by two friends, Peter Dawson and Tim James, who met working at Hardy & Sons in the 70s. With over 80 vintages collectively under their belts, they've gone on to create a critically acclaimed winery focused on cool-climate expressions of Australian Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
