Charles Heidsieck Rosé Millésimé 2018 is a concentrated and deep Champagne, that is a blend of 59% Pinot Noir including 8% red wine, and 41% Chardonnay. The 2018 vintage is a true testament to the resilience of the vineyards, earning it's place among the remarkable years in Champagne. Composed from 10 Grands and Premiers Crus from Oger, Vertus, Chouilly, Cuis, Verzy, Ay, Ludes, Ambonnay, Tauxières and Avenay.
The Rosé Millésimé 2018 is powerful, generously floral and can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 15 years.
On the nose, the Champagne is powerful and concentrated with generous floral and fruity aromas. Floral notes of peony, violet and rose are combined with a white musk. As it develops, further notes of blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, pomegranate, lemon and blood orange come through. The palate is refined with a high concentration of fruity aromas, from red berries to citrus and exotic fruit. It is generous and characterful as it develops on the palate, offering a peppery and tangy finish with notes of tea and licquorice.
