Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs Champagne NV 75cl is the outcome of a very selective blend of 100% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and the cuvée base 2016 is made up of 10 crus of Chardonnay, the region's most sought-after grapes. Only the juice from the first press is used for this cuvée, and the wines benefit from a long and slow maturation of 3 to 4 years, far exceeding the norms of the region.
With its 1949 vintage, Charles Heidsieck was one of the first Champagne Houses to show its love of Chardonnay by creating a Blanc de Blancs.

The 2006 vintage started with rain in spring but little to no frost. Warm months in early summer allowed for great flowering and fruit set. Some summer storms in late July were balanced with hot days leading up to harvest.
Aromas of peach, candied citrus, and lime give way to freshness and tautness on the palate, with tangerine and lemon on the mid-palate. A finish of elegance and length, typical of the Charles Heidsieck style.
