By Farr Geelong 2023 Chardonnay is a balanced and elegant white wine from the Victoria region of Australia. The trademark characteristics of the wine are understated power and length with a mineral finish. The wine was fermented with natural yeasts and aged in French oak barrels for 11 months, which reveals a remarkable depth and flavour.
The wine can be enjoyed now alongside a rich fish or poultry-based dish, but can be cellared for further development until 2030.
Farr Wine Estate is one of the oldest wine-growing regions in the Moorabool Valley. The place is blessed with a continental climate and volcanic soil quality. Due to this, the grapes produced here are of premium quality with intense flavour and rich colour.
