The Liberator Episode 36 This is the Sea Albarino Wine 75cl

The Liberator Episode 36 is created using 100% Albarino grapes sourced from a specific vineyard in South Africa's Coastal Region. The origin and producer are kept a secret. The vineyard was planted as an experiment and the wine was destined to be added to a Cape Blend, until its potential was realised.

Produced by Richard Kelley, a master of Wine specialising in the wines of South Africa having lived and worked in the Cape between 1995 and 2002. Rick seeks out and ‘liberates’ rare wines from around the Cape and releases them in episodes.

Pairs well with…

  • Fish
  • Pulses Veg
  • Seafood
  • Shellfish
Grape: Albarino
This Albarino is vibrant greenish-golden colour in the glass. The aroma is fresh and full of citrus and stone fruits. The wine balances fresh acidity and ripe fruit perfectly, with lots of peach and citrus flavours and a maritime saline character. The finish is long and refreshing.
This a perfect match for fish, shellfish and seafood of all kinds, including Lobster of course! Also try with salads, cheeses and light poultry dishes.
