2016 had a cool start and mixed weather at flowering, which meant a smaller than average yield. The growing season was a long one. Intensified fruit flavours were balanced with near perfect sugar and acidity levels.
The 2016 from Ridgeview is a beautiful, elegant rose gold colour with raspberry notes and a delicate creamy palate of peach, cherry and spice. The texture is full-bodied and the finish is long and lingering.
Pair with smoked salmon canapés. The strawberry aromas and creamy texture will sit perfectly alongside English red berries.
