Rathfinny Estate Rosé Brut 2019 Sparkling Wine 75cl is created using 81% Pinot Noir, 13% Chardonnay and 6% Pinot Meunier grapes, hand-harvested from the Rathfinny Wine Estate in East Sussex. This is the fourth vintage of their Rosé Brut showcasing a beautifully expressive, red-fruit style.
The Rathfinny estate is the perfect site for growing sparkling wine grapes with thin, clay loam soils over chalk creating great sources of water for the vines and the semi-continental climate of the region being very similar to that of Champagne, France.

"Often referred to as the vintage of the decade, 2018 was one of the warmest summers on record. A mini-heatwave developed from April onwards, bringing on early flowering and the dry weather promoted good fruit set. New temperature records were set in July and August and despite heavy rain in early September, the weather during harvest in October was very favourable and we picked very clean fruit with an ideal balance of sugars and acidity for our Sussex sparkling wines." - Rathfinny Estate
Bright coral in colour with aromas of cranberries and redcurrants leading to a soft mousse palate of cherries, sharp quince and silky strawberries.
Pairs beautifully with the tart notes of a rhubarb crumble or sweet and sour Asian dishes.
