Rathfinny Estate Blanc de Blancs 2019 Sparkling Wine is created using 100% Chardonnay grapes, hand-harvested from the Rathfinny Wine Estate in East Sussex. The 2019 vintage has a saline kick, influenced by their coastal vineyard location, which is situated just seven miles from the Seven Sisters Cliffs.
The Rathfinny estate is the perfect site for growing sparkling wine grapes, with thin, clay loam soils over chalk, creating excellent sources of water for the vines. The semi-continental climate of the region is very similar to that of Champagne, France.

"Budburst was timely, though it was very wet prior to flowering which, as a result, was slightly later than usual. However, we had a successful fruit set,
despite July and the early part of August coming in cooler than normal. The second half of August brightened

The 2019 vintage is luminescent gold in colour. On the nose, delicate notes of ripe tropical fruits yield a complex palate of apricot and creamy citrus fruits. The finish is deliciously long and elegant with notes of yuzu.
The Rathfinny Blanc de Blancs is the perfect accompaniment to fish and seafood dishes, such as turbot with samphire, crab risotto, or seabass sashimi.
