Portia Prima Ribera Del Duero 2018 Spanish Red Wine is 100% Tempranillo. The winemaker selects grapes from the prime upper side of the bunch, known in Spanish as the 'shoulder'. It has a limited production of 100 new French oak barrels. After 10 months in American oak, it undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak.

A very deep cherry red wine with youthful hues at the rum ,intense aromas of dark, ripefruit, blending into aromas from good ageing in fine wood against a back ground of peppercorns with hints of vanilla.
Matches perfectly with any kind of meat and mushroom rice. Some tasty or oily fish such as tuna or cod. Medium-aged cheese such as emmental or gruyere.
