Meyer-Fonné Gewurztraminer Réserve is made in a medium sweet style, with excellent varietal characterics and a lovely balance of sweetness, aromatic intensity, and precision. Sourced from young vines, many of which are planted in Grand Cru vineyards.
Meyer-Fonné is a famaily domaine now in its third generation, with 15 hectares of vineyards spread across 7 different communes within Alsace: Katzenthal, Ammerschwihr, Ingersheim, Riquewihr, Kientzheim, Colmar and Bennwihr. They farm without the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides, as part of the conversion to organic viticulture.
