Domaines de Ladoucette Pouilly-Fumé is a reference point for Sauvignon Blanc and a benchmark for this appellation. It displays classic citrus and green apple notes upfront, with a crisp acidity and a clean, mineral backbone.
Fermentation is carried out at low temperatures in stainless steel, preserving the fresh aromatics and keeping the wine crisp and clean. The wine is kept on its lees for 9 months, with monthly battonage (stirring of the lees), enhancing body and texture.
Château du Nozet, where this wine is made, has been under the ownership of the family of the Comte Lafond since the 18th century, and encompasses some of the finest vineyards of the region.

On the nose, aromas of citrus, white flowers and subtle smoky/flinty notes. The palate offers flavours of green apple, pear and citrus zest with a crisp acidity and a clean, mineral backbone. The finish is long and fresh with a slight salinity. Overall the 2024 is elegant, precise and refreshing.
Fantastic with oysters. This would also work well with ceviche or salmon tartare.
