Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons 2018 is generally considered to be a perfect example of Premier Cru, one of the dozen or so finest in the commune, one of great class and a standard bearer. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it displays an aromatic bouquet, full body and ample structure. On the palate, this is a well balanced wine, not too rich with very good tannins; there are generous fruit flavours and an excellent, long, lingering finish. Food pairing, this wine will be an ideal match for roast pork, chicken or turkey. Nice, delicate meats but also a wide selection of cheeses. Although drinking now, Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons will certainly improve up to 10-15 years in good cellaring conditions.
