Krug Grande Cuvée Brut 170th Edition is a blend of 195 wines from 12 different vintage years. The intense flavours and aromas of Krug Grande Cuvée Champagne would be impossible to express in the wines of just a single year. The youngest year used to create the 170th edition is 2014 with the oldest dating back to 1998.
This Champagne, as with all Krug editions, will continue to gain excellence with time. This edition has already spent seven years in Krug cellars and the composition of 51% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay and 11% Meunier gives this wine its distinct expression and elegance. Krug Grande Cuvée 170th Edition was composed around the 2014 vintage, and the final blend includes 45% of reserve wines from the House's extensive collection. This ensures this new edition offers the breadth, depth, and complexity for which Krug is renowned.
