Joseph Drouhin Meursault 1er Cru Perrières 2021 comes from a particularly fine, stony vineyard that tends to produce Chardonnay that is both rich and intensely mineral. In 2021, this wine is complex and generous, with a rare elegance. Aged in oak barrels from the French high forest, the expression of the terroir and character of the vintage was prioritised.

Grape: Chardonnay
The 2021 vintage was an incredibly difficult one, resulting in one of the smallest harvests that Burgandy has ever seen. However, the whites are well-balanced with lovely aromatics.
On the nose, the wine presents aromas of syrup, grilled almonds and preserved fruit. On the palate, the wine is silky with an ample texture which does not exclude the freshness or lightness. The finish is long with flavours of grilled bread and fruit jam.
