Domaine Vacheron Sancerre Blanc 2021 75cl

Domaine Vacheron Sancerre Blanc 2021 is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from, arguably, Sancerre's finest producer. This cuvée comes from a combination of vineyard plots; silex, limestone and clay. It is a wine that is brimming with energy, with a complex array of fruit and floral notes and steely minerality. This has a lot more substance than an ordinary Sancerre, and is a must-try for fans of the style.

Domaine Vacheron is run by cousins Jean-Laurent and Jean-Dominique Vacheron, who look after the 50 hectares of vineyard with biodynamic farming and make some of the best Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in the Loire Valley. Fermentations are carried out with only indigenous yeasts (no commercial strains are used), the wines are unfiltered, and bottling is timed according to the lunar cycle.
