With the warmth of the Mediterranean sunshine and the rolling hills of the majestic Pyrenees as a starting point there’s no wonder Domaine de Gayda makes some of the most exciting wines in the whole Languedoc region. Aged for 6 months in French oak, the nose is straight away bathed in hints of spice and red fruit, while the well-structured pallet and medium body hold the soft tannins to a great finish. A great example of an easy-drinking Syrah.
