Montagny is located on a soil of mixed clay and limestone in the Côte Chalonnaise, on the southern part of Côte de Beaune. The grapes come from a Premier Cru and therefore the the fruit and mineral notes of Chardonnay are enhanced. The wine presents citrus fruit aromas and a well-balanced acidity. The colour is a pale gold with aromas of honeysuckle and citrus. A subtle minerality with a tight texture are accompanying a long and refreshing aftertaste
