Grapes for this wine were sourced from carefully selected sites located within the southern Wairau Valley including our Mustang and Barracks vineyards.

Grape: Pinot Noir
The bouquet is expressive and enticing, with aromas of sun-warmed cherry, wild hedgerow fruits and crushed rose petals. The palate is delicate, with soft, silky tannins and a hint of acidity to balance out and frame the core flavours of soft spices, summer berries and just a hint of biscuity vanilla. The wine has a deliciously long finish, evoking memories of warm summer evenings, strawberries nestled under shaded leaves, and the persisting scent of barbeque smoke.
Pinot Noir is a very versatile wine and pairs well with a wide variety of foods, however we'd recommend paring with light game meats, such as duck, or rabbit; roasted vegetables and almost anything chargrilled.
