Château Rieussec 2019 Sauternes Bordeaux release is presented in a bottle made from 95% recycled glass, paired with an updated cork designed to preserve freshness for longer after opening. The 2019 vintage is a classic expression of the vibrant yet concentrated Sauternes style for which this centuries-old estate is known. Aromas reveal layers of honeyed tropical fruit alongside hints of toast and subtle smokiness. On the palate, it shows impressive balance, with a rich, velvety texture and a brighter citrus edge than suggested on the nose, complemented by notes of nutmeg, sumac, and gentle spice. The finish is persistent and intricately layered. Enjoy now or cellar through to 2045.

'This is the 2019, because Rieussec is no longer showing En Primeur but instead when it is in bottle. Marmalade and bitter orange peel is totally gorgeous, and this is one of the best Rieussec's that I can remember. A ton of juicy minerality, not overly concentrated but full of fresh pineapple and white mango, white peach and pear. 120g/l residual sugar. A brilliant Rieussec with so much personality and a full, rich texture through the mid palate'.
