Chateau Musar 1995 Bekaa Valley Lebanon Red Wine 37.5cl
Chateau Musar 1995 Red Wine Bekaa Valley, Lebanon produced by world-famous winemaker, Serge Hochar, in Lebanon's high altitude Bekaa Valley. 1995 was described by Serge as, "a great year, great weather. Mid-summer heat with lots of sunshine and cloudy evenings. Perfect."
Like all memorable wines from this producer, it is a wine that is incomparable to others. Extremely complex, it challenges the senses with feral, earthy notes that sit alongside dark fruits and spices.

Mid to deep red, tawny rim. Good for its age. Attractive autumnal berry fruits on the nose and natural warmth still present with lifted, elegantly textured fruit and good length on the palate. Still firm, with a clarity of expression that will remain for another few years" - Steven Spurrier, September 2019
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Cinsault
Now fully mature, this wine presents a fascinating perfume of dried fruit, earth, tobacco, woody spices and farmyard. The tannins are still present, but fully resolved into a very silky texture.
Great with mushroom and game bird dishes.
