Château La Tour Carnet 2020 Haut-Médoc 4eme Cru Classe is a distinctive red wine from the Haut-Médoc appellation of Bordeaux. A classic Bordeaux blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, with aromas of black and red currants, morello cherry and hints of tobacco leaf.
The wine is classified as a 4ᵉ Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Bordeaux classification and has been aged in oak for 16 months, with 30% new oak.
Château La Tour Carnet is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc. The property takes its name from its tower, built in 1120 and surrounded by a moat. Vines were first planted on the estate in 1407. Owned by Bernard Magrez, this Classified Growth of 1855 belongs to the elite of the great wines of the Haut-Médoc.
