Château Fleur de Boüard 2014 Bordeaux 75cl
Château Fleur de Boüard 2014 is a Bordeaux blend of 85% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7% Cabernet Franc. The 2014 is rich and beautifully full-bodied with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and vanilla. The wine is well sculpted with floral notes and velvety tannins.
The 2014 vintage has been aged in oak barrels, 70-80% new, for 18-24 months.
Previously known as Château La Fleur Saint Georges, the family followed the age-old tradition of renaming a property following a change of ownership and christened the property La Fleur de Boüard. The region is renowned for its warm, mild conditions which lead to early flowering, hence many properties in the locality carry ‘la fleur’ in their names.
