Catena Malbec Red Wine 2019 Argentina 75cl
A rich, soft plum and blackcurrant flavoured red with a long and satisfying finish that presents smooth tannins. Catena have produced this wine using 100% Malbec grapes that have been sourced from a selection of the best vineyards in Argentina.
Nicolás Catena was the first South American winemaker to be named 'Decanter's Man of the Year' after he pioneered high-altitude Malbec in Argentina. Before this, Argentina was generally seen as a producer of less-exclusive wine. The Catena family has since amassed a collection of Malbec varietals that are exclusive to them.

Grape: Malbec
Ripe and concentrated dark fruit aromas with delicate floral notes are mixed with trace notes of mocha and vanilla. The palate is rich, with black cherry and redcurrant flavours present and notes of leather, tobacco, and sweet spices coming through. Soft and supple tannins are present on the palate with a crisp acidity and minerality that gives the wine an exceptional length.
