Catena Alta Malbec 2022 is a highly-regarded red wine from the Mendoza region of Argentina. The grapes are sourced from small, carefully selected estate-grown lots in four of the Catena family’s Andean vineyards. Mendoza’s elevation delivers strong sunlight and cool nights, which helps retain fresh acidity and develop intense, concentrated fruit flavours.
The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with careful fermentation and maceration, including some cold soak, then aged for around 12–18 months in French oak barrels to add structure and complexity without overwhelming the fruit.
