Botanica Flower Girl Albariño is currently one of only four wines crafted from this Iberian grape varietal in South Africa. Botanica Wines was founded in 2009 by the owner and self-taught winemaker, Ginny Povall, who planted 5 hectares of organically-farmed, high-density vineyards between 2009 and 2010. The estate grows five varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Albariño.
