Bollinger La Côte aux Enfants 2014 Champagne 75cl Gift Box
Bollinger La Côte aux Enfants 2014 Champagne is marked by its dense and complex dimension. A Champagne composed of 100% Grand Cru Pinot Noir, from the single La Côte aux Enfants plot. This champagne has matured in the cellar and under cork for more than twice the appellation's regulations and can be enjoyed now or further aged in cellar. Best served between 8 and 10°C.
The plot was patiently reconstituted by Jacques Bollinger in the early 20th century, when more than fifty owners shared it. Today, Bollinger pays homage to his visionary spirit by releasing the 2014 vintage.
Since its founding in 1829, Maison Bollinger has showcased the Champagne terroir and allowed its characteristics to express themselves in its wines. The House has deepened its understanding of La Côte aux Enfants, an emblematic plot of land in Aÿ.

"95 Points. The 2014 La Côte aux Enfants is a powerful, resonant Champagne. It emerges from north-facing parcels in a site best known for still reds. Kirsch, leather, spice, tobacco, ginger and cinnamon all build in the glass. Readers will find a Champagne that shows the wilder, gamier side of Pinot Noir allied to a good bit of supporting structure. This is a fine effort from Bollinger" - Antonio Galloni
