Bollinger's Special Cuvée Champagne Magnum makes a tasteful and elegant champagne gift. The blend for the Special cuvée is an ideal version of the classic Champagne blend, using the different grapes of a given year from a variety of crus, with the addition of older, reserve wines. Bollinger Special Cuvée is the purest expression of the Bollinger style.
It is pale gold in colour, dry with toasty flavours on the mouth, great length and a perfect balance. Complex, bready, toasty, baked apple bouquet with a pleasing dry finish. The Special Cuvée Non vintage Champagne contains the full expression of the Bollinger style and the House feels it should be judged on this - its benchmark wine.
