Bodega Numanthia Termanthia 2012 Red Wine Spain 75cl
Bodega Numanthia Termanthia 2012 is produced from 100% Tinta de Toro, one of the numerous synonyms for Tempranillo, these are low-yield, old vines. Ancient vines give more concentration, complexity and depth to the mid-palate because the vine produces fewer grapes and it focuses its energy on the fruit that is produced.
Bodega Numanthia is located in Valdefinjas, Castile and León, in the Northwest of Spain, founded in 1998. This a tough environment with cold winters and hot arid summers, however these vines, some of which are over 120 years old, manage to thrive burying their roots up to 5 meters to find much-needed water.
The estate is now run by Lucas Lowi, all the vines are dry-farmed and are managed organically, conserving this unique heritage is at the heart of the estate's philosophy
