Artadi El Seque Monastrell 2016 is a Spanish Red Wine from the Alicante region. Produced by the historic Rioja estate Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi, this wine is considered by some as the flagship of the Alicante wine region. This region isn't as well known as Rioja, but produces some excellent powerful reds mainly from the Monastrell grape. This wine offers great value for money and lots of bold flavours with a Meditteranean character.

Grape: Mourvedre /Mataro /Monastrell
A deep garnet red colour. This succulent red is full-bodied and fruity with a touch of oak. A fruity aroma with blueberry and cherry along with a balsamic note and a touch of oak spice. The wine is concentrated and full of ripe cherry, blueberry and plum fruit, along with oak spice and herbal notes, with a smooth spicy finish.
An ideal bottle to take to a barbecue, equally a good match with stews and game dishes.
