Willunga 100 Grenache Rosé Mclaren Vale Australia 75cl
Willunga 100 Grenache 2024 Rosé from McLaren Vale in Australia is a thrilling, dry Rosé with fresh aromatics of ripe citrus and hints of stone fruit. A blend of Grenache fruit from younger vines giving fresh fruit aromas and flavours, combined with Grenache fruit from 50-year-old dry-grown bush vines for depth, spice, and complexity.
Sourced from Willunga 100's own estate vineyard 'Blind Spot' in the sub-region of Blewitt Springs (McLaren Vale). The chosen block for the Rosé features dry-grown bush vines planted in 1968 at an altitude of approximately 150m above sea level on a southwest-facing slope. 100% Grenache, this wine has great balance and aromatics, and comes from one of Australia's most emerging regions. The winery is committed to sustainable practices and producing high-quality wines that reflect the region's unique characteristics.

"93 Points. Fabulous lunchtime slings and large pours await with this Willunga 100 Grenache Rosé. A label going places, this and the new Grenache Blanc are two 2024 releases that are absolutely singing. A blend of younger vine fruit and 50+ year old vines, the younger vines came from cuttings sourced from the famed 100+ year old Smart Vineyard Grenache. Hand-picked and gently pressed, a pretty rose gold appearance greets the eye. Some time on lees has built a delightful textural interest. Highlighted by a red apple crunch, fresh red currants and freeze-dried raspberries swoop and sit front and centre. White cherries and pomegranate muse with a delicious strawberries and cream textural detail" - QWine Reviews
