The 2018 is the 25th Vintage of the cuvée and discovers the expression of centuries-old craftsmanship and an unprecedented year, which offers a maturity of grapes close to perfection.
Madame Clicquot said that Veuve Clicquot's "black grapes give the finest white wines" and this continues to be reminiscent today, with Pinot Noir making up 90% of the blend of La Grande Dame. Today, Veuve Clicquot's Cellar Master continues to perpetuate her intuition, finetuning the balance and tension to create the signature expression of La Grande Dame, which is a masterclass in elegance and precision.
