Vallana Brut Rose Metodo Classico Sparkling Wine 75cl is a rare and unusual style of rose sparkling wine from Northern Italy. Vallana is one of the leading producers in the Alto Piemonte region, located north of the famous Barolo DOC. Vallana are famous for their red wines produced from Nebbiolo, in a similar style to Barolo.
This sparkling Nebbiolo rose is something different and well worth trying. Most similar in style to a traditional Lambrusco, this has the red fruit character from Nebbiolo of strawberries and raspberries, with floral notes of roses, and has very fresh acidity with a touch of tannin to give this an interesting structure. A real foodie style, this is great with cured meats and cheeses.
