Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2011 75cl
The Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2011 is Taittinger's most prestigious Cuvee with its silky, elegant profile and texture. Produced only in exceptional vintage years the 2011 is produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes all from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs.
In 1952, the Taittinger Champagne House created the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs in honour of the Comtes de Champagne (Counts of Champagne), in particular Thibaud IV. Thie Blanc de Blancs is created using juice from the first press only and a small percentage is aged in new oak to add subtle toasted notes.

“A firm, fresh Comtes with a tight and composed palate. It's full-bodied with a racy mid-palate. Long and persistent. Very structured with phenolics and acidity. Minerally. Floral, too. Refreshing and energetic. September 2021 release.” 97 Points - James Suckling
Grape: Chardonnay
Fresh, elegant and beautifully structured. Delicate bubbles with endless layers of zingy citrus fruit, buttered toast and green apples.
Perfect with elegant seafood such as shrimp, lobster or oysters.
