Oak Cross by Compass Box Blended Scotch Whisky 70cl Gift Box

The Oak Cross by Compass Box was given this name because it offers the best characteristics of both American and French oak aging. Compass box have combined with a small mill in France that produces some of the highest cooperage oak in the world. Working with this mill enabled experiments with secondary maturation of malt whiskies in cask. The successful outcome gives the Oak Cross a rich, medium-bodied blended malt Scotch whisky that combines vanilla characteristics from American oak and spicy, clove-like characters from French oak.

Suitable as an aperitif served with a chilled water in the winter months. Full enough to serve as a summertime digestif and an excellent match for many cheeses.
