Grape: Chardonnay
The wine is pale gold in colour, and showcases an intricately fine mousse. The bouquet showcases aromas of greengage and lemon curd, enhanced by alluring scents of shortcrust pastry and clotted cream. In the mouth, flavours of fresh citrus fruits, accompanied by apple crumble, gooseberry and a distinct mineral, flinty character. The wine culminates in a complex, creamy and elongated finish, with hints of salinity.
Nyetimber Blanc de Blancs 2017 is elegant, fresh and rounded, so would pair wonderfully with Dover sole, white crab or mussles.
