Mumm Magnum Cordon Rouge Champagne NV 150cl
Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne Magnum 150cl is dominated by a backbone of Pinot Noir, this flagship cuvée is a blend of up to 77 different vineyards with a high proportion of reserve wines from five different vintages. Brightly sparkling, light golden yellow liquid with an abundance of fine and elegant bubbles. Aromas of lemon and grapefruit, with notes of white peach, apricot and acidulous apple. Lingering notes of vanilla, dried fruit and honey. Complex fresh fruit and caramel flavours are the mark of a great wine. A touch of acidity and remarkable length in the mouth make a consistently delightful finish. Cordon Rouge sums up the spirit, know-how and dynamism of the Mumm champagne house. A structured wine with a powerful finish.

man who would eventually give his initials to the House is also the man to whom we owe its iconic cuvée. As a winemaker, Georges Hermann Mumm was driven by a single motto: "only the best". In 1875, in tribute to the wine on which the reputation of the House is founded, he decided to ornament the bottle with a red silk ribbon, a symbol of the highest of French honours, the Order Royal et Militaire de Saint Louis then the Grand Cordon de la Légion d'Honneur.
