Miles Mossop Max Stellenbosch Red Wine 2020 South Africa 37.5cl
Miles Mossop Max is a classic Stellenbosch Bordeaux-blend. Artisanal winemaking techniques are used in the winery. The fruit is gently handled to avoid unnecessary bruising of the grapes, and wild yeasts are used for the fermentation, which occurs in open-top vessels. After fermentation, the must is basket-pressed and malolactic conversion occurs in French oak barriques. The wine is then matured in barriques, 41% of which are new, for 20 months before being bottled without fining or filtration. This half bottle of wine can be appreciated straight away after release but will also develop with cellaring.
