Mezan Rum Jamaican Barrique XO 70cl
This small batch of 5000 bottles was carefully blended from rums produced by several different Jamaican distilleries including Monymusk and Hampden. Each single batch of Mezan XO is blended with rums aged between 4 and 23 years. It is then re-casked following the blending to encourage the marriage of flavours.
The XO has a pungent nose of fresh banana, sweet spice, croissants and tropical fruits. A light palate with complex spice, muscovado sugar and hints of tobacco. A burnt sugar finish with oaky, bitter tannins.
