Laphroaig 25 Year Old Cask Strength 70cl is less intensely smoky than its predecessors' thanks to maturation in ex-Oloroso sherry and American bourbon casks. Instead, you'll relish the finish's rich, decadently smooth texture and appropriately sweet flavours. It has aged for 25 years in a mixture of large Oloroso sherry barrels and former Bourbon barrels, demonstrating that good things are worth the wait.
The distinctive Laphroaig flavour—peat smoke with a medicinal edge—is balanced by creamy vanilla notes from American oak and spiced apple flavours from the sherry casks in this smooth single malt Scotch.
