First rain and cool temperatures in July followed by a ten-day heatwave at the beginning of August. Mid-September bought sunny, windy weather allowed the ripening process to complete.
Remarkably youthful Champagne considering its ageing, packed with crisp green apples, candied fruits and honey. Smooth on the palate with a vivacious finish.
Pairs perfectly with classically served rock oysters. Also try with duck fois gras.
